DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Part-Time Trader Education Intern
Location: Chicago. IL
Department: Education
POSITION SUMMARY
· Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Education department, producing materials that support a continual advancement of traders’ skills
· Interact with partners and senior traders, providing individual tutoring on all education materials, including Excel VBA programming
· Work 15-20 hours per week, Monday and Thursday afternoons required
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Collaborate with the Director of Education, creating a curriculum for proprietary courses
* Provide assistance to traders working on course projects
* Carryout administrative duties in the production of courses
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (preferred) or student with
quantitative-related coursework
* Experience with Microsoft Excel and VBA
* Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to become comfortable quickly with new programs
* Basic finance and options knowledge
* Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a team environment
* A passion for learning and teaching
