Position Description:
The PWM/GWM Manager will provide cross-platform Management and Oversight to the Trader Assistants (11) on the GWMG FID Trading floor in Westchester with immediate focus and oversight on the PWM trade assistants (5).
The Manager will be tasked with identifying root cause of problems and, tactical and strategic solutions for the PWM trade processing work streams, specifically around our TRACE and MSRB regulatory requirement fulfillment. Executions and inquires from both TRACE (NASD) and RTRS (MSRB) must be resolved within the 15 minute regulatory deadline, highlighting the necessity of oversight. New processes and procedures need to be adopted that will lead to timeliness in execution, increased Service for our clients and FA’s and increases our Regulatory reporting on time performance
The Manager will be tasked with defining synergies between the PWM, GWM, and ISG platforms and identifying efficiencies between the processes. With a focus on the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney joint venture, defining synergies and efficiencies is crucial. The Manager will interact with Trading, Sales, Legal, Compliance and IT on day to day functions, trade related issues and implementation of new initiatives. The individual will provide Oversight along with Product Support for the various instruments including: Corporates, Municipals, Agencies, Governments, FX, Preferreds, CDS, and International Bonds.
