Due to the successful growth of our Emerging Markets business we are seeking to appoint a Portfolio Analyst/Trader to join Macquarie Funding Holdings Inc. in Miami, Fl.

The main responsibility of the role will be to perform the following duties focused on the Latin American markets: conduct credit analysis and create detailed financial valuation models; analyse, evaluate and recommend investment opportunities on publicly traded and private fixed income and equity securities in emerging markets; and conduct financial and credit analyses.

To succeed in this role you will possess:

- An MBA or Masters degree in finance or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or two years of trading experience in emerging markets securities with a sell-side/broker dealer

- Experience must include two years experience sourcing deals and analysing investment opportunities on publicly traded and private fixed income and equity securities in Latin America

- Two years experience developing financial modelling systems to structure, value, and price fixed income and equity securities in emerging markets, including equities, bonds, and loans

- Two years experience developing debt and equity valuation models including discounted cash flow models & market comparable analysis
