Established and growing Chicago proprietary trading firm is seeking experienced high-frequency traders to join our FX electronic trading operations. You will be charged with the task of developing new strategies utilizing our proprietary software and scaling our existing strategies. Unique from other high frequency firms, our traders work closely with our dedicated technology team in developing and enhancing existing strategies. Requirements
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years plus working experience of high-frequency FX trading or comparable experience.
* Knowledge of FX futures markets along with spot Forex markets such as EBS, Rueters, Hotspot, or Currenex.
· Ability to do light programming work using multi-dimensional arrays, nested loops, complex conditionals, and simple file I/O
· Fluent in Excel with familiarity in VBA or .NET framework
· Strong mathematical aptitude
· Bachelor’s degree with solid GPA
· Learns new concepts quickly
· Can be trusted to use good judgment
· Is honest and trustworthy
· Values teamwork but can still think independently
· Can communicate effectively and under pressure
· Can adapt to changing situations with ease
