Energy client is looking for a Mid & Sr. Level Energy Trader with 3-7+ years of experience with physical and financial commodity trading in energy markets. You need a Bachelor's degree in business, math, economics or directly applicable equivalent experience. You will be responsible for trading and risk management of the wholesale energy portfolio, including physical and financial products, options and basis related instruments. You must have generation operations knowledge as well as knowledge of transmission operations. Responsibilities

* You will be responsible for trading and risk management of the wholesale energy portfolio, including physical and financial products, options and basis related instruments
* Develop and implement long & short term trading strategies that support the direction provided by the Managing Director
* Execute delivery and risk mitigation strategies that will enhance term asset value

Requirements

* 3-7+ years of experience with physical and financial commodity trading in energy markets
* You need a Bachelor's degree in business, math, economics or directly applicable equivalent experience
* You must have generation operations knowledge as well as knowledge of transmission operations
* You must possess strong analytical capabilities and be extremely detail oriented and diligent in monitoring open risk positions
* You need to be able to analyze, dissect and assist in valuation of complex energy transaction
* You need a detailed knowledge of fundamentals associated with energy commodity and transportation markets
* Any advanced degree or a detailed knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art financial risk management methods and hedging techniques would be considered a PLUS
