In this position, you will work with traders designing GUIs to meet their specific needs. Daily tasks will include translating functional and technical requests into functional GUIs. The GUIs will ultimately integrate with a high frequency low latency trading system.
Requirements
* B.S. (or higher) degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Strong C++ skills, with 7+ years of programming experience.
* Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 (Version 8).
* Extensive experience designing high performance GUI applications with MFC.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong problem solving abilities.
The following is a plus:
* Experience with networking, sockets and/or various middleware packages such as LBM.
* Understanding of real time trading systems.
* Experience communicating with traders and translate their requests into products.
* The ability to design and build unit tests and automated testing environments for GUIs.
* Experience with SQL.
