Area Overview:
Domestic Capital Markets (DCM), within the Markets Group is seeking a senior Trader/analyst to provide specialty market coverage in the area of corporate credit. DCM is responsible for monitoring non-Treasury and non-FX markets for the purpose of informing policy makers on matters related to monetary policy and financial stability. These markets include equities, credit, commodities, mortgages, swaps and agencies.

More specifically, the candidate would be expected to develop a macro approach towards analyzing corporate credit with a focus on those high-grade and high-yield sectors that have implications for monetary policy and financial stability. This will entail tracking credit spread movements in both cash and derivatives markets and understanding how they are impacted by changes in the macro environment. This will also entail informing policy makers on what these markets say about the macro environment and market liquidity. A key element will also be to understand the market microstructure against which price movements take place and the conditions under which they could negatively impact market liquidity and financial stability. To this end, the candidate would be expected to develop extensive contacts with corporate credit market participants – both primary dealers and buy-side investors -- as well as to interface with other areas of the bank, such as Bank Supervision and Research.

The candidate would also contribute to the Group’s broader efforts to monitor financial markets globally for the FOMC and the Treasury, through desk rotations, daily written briefings and conference calls and market overview reports.

Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

# Master’s level degree in Business, Economics, Policy or a related area;
# At least two to three years of work experience in corporate credit trading or fundamental credit analysis;
# Strong quantitative skills and proven ability in working with and understanding credit market data including volumes, spreads, etc. ;

We are seeking a Senior Trader to join the staff at our Newark, Delaware location. Senior Trader - Level 2 utilize short-term power trading experience in the evaluation and execution of hourly electricity transactions in the Day Ahead and Real Time markets of the eastern interconnect power grid within the current and prompt months. Demonstrate a high level of trading and fundamental expertise in at least one of the following pools: PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and IESO. Perform detailed fundamental and statistical analysis to optimize trading opportunities. Coordinate with other business units on the trading floor to optimize financial opportunities for the Short-term Power Trading desk as well as the overall company. Maintain trading practices within the Merchant Risk Management guidelines and corporate ethical standards. Conectiv currently operates a 4-day, 40 hour per week rotating schedule with no overnight shift.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Marketing, Finance or Engineering OR the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
* Experience demonstrating skill evaluating and executing short-term power trading (physical and/or financial hourly and/or daily electricity transactions).

The Energy, Transportation & Industrial Analysis (ETIA) Group is seeking to fill a North American Senior Natural Gas Analyst position within the Minneapolis office.

ETIA acts as the focus for fundamental analysis for Cargill Ocean Transportation, Petroleum, Coal, Power & Gas and Steel. The analysts are responsible for maintaining and building economic models to support trading decisions and help identify trading opportunities. This position is based in Minneapolis and reports jointly to Management of North American Natural Gas and to Management of ETIA. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic world class Energy Analysis team, and to work in a fast-paced and motivated team within a large global company.

Principal Accountabilities:

Key responsibilities will include providing decision support to energy traders:

* Provide analysis of specific aspects of the US and Canadian natural gas markets
* Play a key role in developing Cargill's growth in both this market and connectivity with other energy markets
* Sourcing and management of critical data
* Management and development of existing supply/demand models
* Creating analysis and executing knowledge flow
* Clear and timely delivery of focused information

Requirements Required

* Masters degree required in a numerate subject (finance / economics / mathematics or science) or minimum 5 years of nat gas and North American energy exposure (including experience in SNDs, publishing analytical reports, working with traders).
* Must have significant/demonstrated track record in analytics Able to manage data flow and process to produce quality documents for internal distribution.
* Must have established network of external contacts and demonstrated internal networking capability.
* IT skills: Advanced Excel skills, VBA a plus.
* Highly numerate skillset
* Must have strong communication skills (fluent spoken English, good presentation skills, effective written communication skills).

This position originates corn and negotiates forward contracts to buyers of distillers’ grains, assists and implements in devising corn origination strategies and distiller’s grains sales programs and manages logistics and receivables in support of the ethanol processing operation at a dry mill ethanol plant. Responsibilities/Essential Functions

· Aggressively originates corn by developing a rapport with local farming community through direct communication.

· Maintains daily communication, organizes logistical services, and assists with accounting issues with suppliers and customers.

· Manages inbound truck logistics for corn origination and outbound truck logstics for distillers’ grains.

· Negotiates forward sales contracts to buyers of wet and dry distillers’ grains and devises and executes origination strategies in corn and distillers’ grains.

Additional Responsibilities

· Gathers news, statistics and information related to individual commodity supply and demand from customers and trade sources, and distributes that information to the remainder of the group to support overall strategic trading/positioning (i.e., contributes to research function).

· Identifies, qualifies and captures new business; develops and to customer/supplier list.

· Takes inventory measurements on corn, chemicals, and By-products.

· Works closely with corn receiving office, learns Compuweigh and probing / grading operations. Occasionally communicates with truckers / suppliers regarding quality.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree
* One to two years’ experience in one or more of the following:
· Commodity Merchandising/Origination/Trading
· Commodity Risk Management
· Logistics (i.e., coordination of shipments and deliveries)

Preferred:
