Purpose:
Charles Schwab's Fixed Income Trading Team manages the firm's
BondSource platform that offers clients, on a typical day, the choice
of over 75,000 different fixed income securities. The most popular
products are Municipal Bonds; Bank CDs, Agencies, Treasuries and
Corporate Bonds.

Description:
# Interact collaboratively with the Strategic Trading Sales, Schwab
Advisory Services and Investor Services sales and service partners to
source appropriate structure products to meet evolving client demand
# Manage Structured Products calendar offerings and reverse inquiry
order flow
# Monitor Schwab Bond Source trading activity to ensure that trade
execution standards are achieved.
# Negotiate trades with external dealers and issuers
# Evaluate Structured Product offerings for appropriate pricing to
ensure best execution for our clients
# Facilitate Bid Wanted activity with external dealers via QWS
# Work on Orders in Review-Agent/Trader status
# Executing, cancelling, changing, outing orders, and notifying all
parties
# Resolve trade problems/settlement breaks, call contra parties,
liaison with operations and external dealers
# Respond to internal sales/service reps regarding trading issues and
execution quality

Qualifications:
# Comprehensive understanding of Structured Products markets
required.
# Minimum of three (3) years fixed income/capital markets experience
within a collaborative and team-oriented trading environment
preferred.
# Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and manage
daily workload with strong conflict management, analytical,
quantitative and problem solving skills
# Must be flexible, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced
team environment
# Demonstrated prior experience in a customer service or business
development role with strong communication skills
# Strong PC skills that includes experience with Microsoft office
(including Excel, Word, and Power Point) and industry standard
trading resources and tools (Bloomberg, Reuter's, BondDesk,
TradeWeb, Blackrock etc.)
# Sound understanding of FINRA/SEC regulations preferred
# Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics and Series 7
& 63 required
