Our proprietary front-end was developed and is supported in house by a group of software developers and traders devoted full-time to keeping our trader software on the cutting-edge. We regularly enhance the platform based on trader and client feedback and requirements as well as industry driven advancements.
We will continue to lead the industry in creating the most advanced trading technology available as well as extend and customize our base platform to the traders exact trading style.
Responsibilities include:
Writing production code using multi-threading constructs. Must be ready to talk about how you used them in past situations. The code being written is very involved so you will need heavy experience coding with constructs and creating production code with these methods. These things can’t be found in textbooks and there aren’t many coders who know their way around or through them. However, if you do, this firm and opportunity might be right for you.
Good base salary and full benefits. Bonus potential is very high as the firm is small, well funded and doing extremely well. In business for nearly ten years. Ten man firm so the bonus pie does not have to be cut too many times and your contribution will be paramount to the firm’s success and well recognized.
Additional skills needed:
1) C# multithreading (be familiar with different synchronization objects i.e. locks, monitors, classes inherited from WaitHandle) understand and uses simple patterns i.e. Async pattern ( BeginAction, EndAction, IAsyncResult ....) WorkQueues, BackgroundWorker class
2) In depth understanding of data binding and usage of interfaces INotifyPropertyChange, IList, ITypedList
3) Be familiar with common patterns i.e. factory, template method, select, async, builder.
