POSITION SUMMARY
Business success depends on people - talented, motivated, agile people. To ensure this success, we are seeking desirable candidates that possess a strong background and knowledge of a utility market such as:
* power billing;
* power scheduling, energy accounting, power contract/agreement development and/or administration;
* power rate analysis;
* financial management;
* commodities trading;
* risk management;
* or comparable work in a natural gas utility operation.

As BPA's Customer Account Executive (Real Time Trader) you will:
* execute hourly, daily, and balance of month sales and purchases of power and reserve services, including within month acquisition and sales of transmission products and services to support within month marketing activity.
* monitor the hourly bi-lateral markets;
* develop hour-ahead energy bids and offer into various markets and market (purchase and sell) energy as directed;
* monitor and bid into the hour ahead spinning, non-spinning and replacement reserves market;
* optimize trading opportunities between real-time markets and day ahead markets;
* bid into supplemental energy markets;
* prepare e-tags; and
* arrange transmission service for appropriate schedules.
