The J.P. Morgan Futures and Options business is a market leader with over thirty years experience in this specialized field. Offering access to seventy six global exchanges, it is purely a client focused agency business with a broad global sales, execution, and client service network with comprehensive coverage across the three regions.
The F&O Operations area of J.P. Morgan provides full clearing support globally for proprietary and customer based clients. Our goal is to offer superior clearing services in the most efficient manner. Our operations team faces exchanges, clearing houses, and client representatives daily to ensure a seamless clearing process from the point of execution through the deliverable process.
Role Description
F&O requires a motivated Funds Management and Collateral Professional, who can perform key accounting and regulatory functions while liaising with clients, clearing houses, and regulatory areas both internal and external.
The responsibilities of the Funds Management and Collateral Professional will include the following:
* Client FX daily settlements
* Cash projections
* Daily margin variations and intraday margin calls to exchanges
* Cash movements
* Funding transfers
* Application of strong exchange & product knowledge
* Tax Reporting
Requirements
F&O Funds Management and Collateral Professional should possess the following skills:
* Extensive F&O Operational/accounting knowledge (Ideally minimum 5 years experience)
* Understand the "flow" of Money
* Capable of taking full ownership of issues and processes
* Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate across multiple aspects of the organization at various levels
* Be a dynamic & proactive team player
* Ability to identify processes to improve capacity, efficiency and control
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure
* Analytical thinking
* Strong time management skills required to meet critical deadlines and prioritize
* Strong Industry application skills (e.g. GMI, GL)
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
