Agency Mortgage Trading focuses on trading mortgage products including general collateral (FNMA,FreddieMac) and a variety of structured products.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Assist Senior Trader with management of all aspects of Adjustable Rate Mortgage trading portfolio, including duration risk, convexity and basis risk as well as analysis of forces that contribute to these risks.
* Assist with bidding on new origination and secondary mortgage product from originators.
* Actively market inventory of bonds by communicating trade ideas, relative value concepts and market activity to salesforce and customer base.
* Communicate desk axes to the salesforce.
* Identify and interpret industry and market events and monitor impact on the portfolio
Requirements
* BS/BA degree required.
* Fixed income exposure preferred.
* Strong financial background.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Internal candidates with experience in dealing with the complexities of Citigroup systems also a plus.
* Highly motivated, organized, detail and team-oriented, with strong quantitative skills
* Demonstrates a high level of integrity
