Email Marketing Manager - About the Job
Market Traders International Inc., the world's oldest and most trusted Forex education institution, is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to add to the Marketing Team. This role will require an individual with email marketing management experience to run MarketTraders and eForex email campaigns. This position will require execution of email sends as well as strategy, measurement, copy development and reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Hands-on experience managing email campaigns and delivery through one of the major email service providers
· Ability to articulate and champion email marketing best practices and standards
· Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
· Passion for data and metrics
· Ability to strategize, plan and develop multiple department email campaigns while working on optimization during execution for continued performance improvement
· General understanding and basic knowledge of HTML
· Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer business, competitive/business environment and consumer behavior
· Strong verbal and written communications skills
· Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
· Monitor and ensure compliance with email policies and CRM best practices
o CAN-SPAM compliance
o CRM contact strategies and campaign processes
o Research and report on industry best practices
Required Skills
· Basic HTML programming for coding emails
· Aptitude to understand databases and related technologies
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
· Exceptional work ethic, ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
· Experience working with customer segmentation.
· Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues inside and outside the organization
· Self-motivated individual who is able to prioritize and multi-task, works well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
· Knowledge of marketing or promotional planning processes and marketing operations
· Ability to manage development of campaigns to ensure flawless execution
· Experience using customer data to determine targeting criteria as well as test designs within an overall contact strategy
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Related Field
· 3-5 years of email marketing experience
· Experience and proven skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
· Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems a plus
· Experience with one of the major email service providers
