Description

This is a Desktop Support position which will be supporting about 40 Traders. Must have Minimum 1 Year of Desktop support in the TRading INdustry.

Desktop Support:

Responsibilities will consist of:

Managing computers and cases with Dell technicians
Manage inventory
Trouble shooting desktop issues related to messaging, email, trading, charting, blogging, forum administration
Cable management
Monitor arrangement
Manage battery backups
Installing and preparing new trader setups
Home setups for traders

Interpersonal skills required:
Strong verbal and email communication skills
Listening / reading skills when working with traders
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Able to manage and prioritize given tasks
Working independently

Requirements

Work experience required:
1 year IT support experience in trading industry

Technical skills required:
Broad technical knowledge of hardware and software
Windows XP in and out
Printers
Desktop PC's
Basic TCP/IP networking
Video cards and Monitors

Education required:
The successful candidate must have formal schooling in Computer Systems.
