Description Series 7 and Series 63 Required. The position requires experience trading in a discount brokerage platform.
# Executes securities transactions in a fast paced environment for stocks, bonds, mutual funds, equity options, and UIT's utilizing electronic trading systems as well as Review and Release software.
# Processes and/or communicates various client requests to appropriate area of the unit such as, but not limited to, asset journals, check requests, reorganization and conversion items, electronic funds transfer.
# Provides quotes and updated market information and news to Clients and Registered Representatives as well as providing detailed account information such as margin calculations, positions, balances and restrictions.
# Sells and or refers mutual funds, unit investment trusts, CD's, insurance and Registered Investment products. Monitor and advise charities of equity gifts and process disposition of same. Assists both Employees and Clients with the exercise of cashless stock options.
# Utilizes trading platforms of two different clearing firms to facilitate trades for clients and registered representatives at various branch locations.
Requirements General Securities Registration (Series 7 and Series 63 License). Series 65. 1 year as a Registered Representative (Trader experience preferred).
Microsoft Office, Excel and Word. Familiarity with electronic trading and order systems preferred. Good communication, teamwork and time management skills.
