Description Cargill's Energy, Transportation & Industrial Platform is seeking talented professionals with an energy trading background in power and natural Gas. We have expertise in trading and managing risk in power, natural gas, coal, emissions/carbon and petroleum markets, as well as trading in a wide array of related derivatives and structured products.
Principal Accountabilities:
70% Price risk trading and management. Trade and manage the directional price risks associated with the energy requirements of Cargill's internal Business Units and external customers. Trading and hedging strategies will include the use of futures and OTC risk management derivative products.
15% Economic Supply/Demand research and analysis. Analyzing and interpreting supply and demand fundamental inputs and projecting short to long term market price ranges.
15% Communication with internal and external customers. Daily contact - both written and verbal including preparing weekly market briefs.

Requirements Required
* Bachelor's degree required in a numerate subject (finance / economics / mathematics or science).
* Minimum 5 years of nat gas and/or power in North American energy.
* Must have demonstrated track record in trading.
* Must have established network of external contacts and demonstrated internal networking capability.
* Highly numerate skillset
* Must have strong communication skills (fluent spoken English, good presentation skills, effective written communication skills).
* Strong business acumen
* Must have good interpersonal skills, ability to work in team, communicate with senior management traders and other analysts.
Ideal candidates will be open to relocation.
