Electricity Financial / Stats Engineer & Trader
Location: Willing to re-locate to the capital of Black Box trading CHICAGO
Company Description: Our client is a growing proprietary trading firm focused on electronic trading. The environment is high energy and fast paced.

Requirements
Understand the stats behind Energy trading and how to use these in developing proprietary trading strategies. Power basis trader covering PJM, NYISO, ISONE, MISO. FTR auctions. Knowledge of transmission patterns.
Roy Talman and Associates is exclusively seeking superior level technologists (Uber Geeks) for permanent placement in Chicago. Our niche within capital markets is proprietary trading. We have played an integral part in building software development teams in prop trading. Submittals from RTA carry weight of credibility as the vast majority of the hiring managers we work with, we've placed. If you qualify, we will make an extra effort to prepare you for the rigorous interviewing process.
To qualify, you must have extraordinary programming skills; be much faster at solving logic problems than ordinary developers. It is helpful to have experience with systems level programming, having a degree from a Tier 1 University in CS or relevant field.
You can be presented to a given company by only one source. It makes a difference from your point of view who represents you.
