Description Classification: Full Time
Compensation: $75000 to $85000 per year
Excellent opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their experience with Mortgage Backed Securities. As an Trading Assistant within this highly progressive team, you will be responsible for working alongside MBS Allocators and Traders to ensure the accurate and timely information gathering and reporting of daily trade activity. Specific responsibilities include:
customer trade confirmation
broker/dealer trade confirmation
FICC Real Time Trade Matching (RTTM)
trade entry/trader position keeping
customer trade ticket processing
trader position/sales ticket reconciliation
MBS Derivative Desk trade support
daily pricing for TBAs
asset manager account breakdowns
provide backup to senior trading assistant on Pass-Through Trading Desk
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience working with Mortgage Backed Securities in a similar environment. Additionally, candidates must have both the aptitude and savvy to work in a highly stressful and demanding environment.
