Description
Broker - Emissions
* This person will help establish and build a desk in an existing energy focused company that will specialize in brokerage services for the global green markets and clean energy sector.
* Candidate will look to structure complex transactions for utilities, banks, hedge funds, energy marketers and energy producers.
* Candidate must have existing relationships and also the ability to grow contact network for increased business.
* Must possess extensive knowledge of the Emissions (SO2 and NOX) and Carbon markets and have the ability to quickly respond to changes in these markets as they continue to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a self starter that is proactive vs reactive and is looking for a position that will grow and expand with these markets!
Requirements
* A minimum of two to five years related broker experience in a customer-facing position
* Sales training, pricing strategy, understanding of Emissions market
* Trading experience in any energy related market a plus
* Excellent communication skills
* Bachelor's degree
Salary: $85,000-$125,000 plus bonus (may vary based on criteria)
