Description Investment advisor located in Harrisburg, PA, with $32 billion of discretionary fixed income assets under management is seeking an entry or experienced investment professional. Trading will involve researching investment opportunities and executing trades under the guidance of senior portfolio managers. Portfolios typically consist of government securities, money markets and short term corporates. Work will include market research, searching for investment opportunities, executing and processing trades; use Bloomberg and other electronic trading platforms, providing market and portfolio data to client support staff, and preparation of portfolio performance reports. The successful candidate will receive extensive on-the-job training.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications: 4-year college degree with a strong academic background (GPA 3.4+), work experience in a related investment or financial field, strong quantitative skills, highly organized and accurate, and ability to work in fast-paced, high pressure environment. Salary range $45 - 60k, incentive bonus and benefits package.
