Description
The Financial Analyst/Secondary Market Trader will back up Mortgage Secondary Market Unit's trading activities related to pipeline hedging activities. Provide pricing, financial analysis and portfolio management analysis. Increase SMU profitability. Special Projects as designated.
Requirements
Education/Knowledge: Bachelors Degree in Business or Equivalent. Graduate Degree and/or Financial Certifications a plus. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years diverse business/finance experience. The applicant will have Mortgage Trading/Pipeline hedging experience and a proven ability to utilize computer skills to perform analysis.
SKILLS:
Expert knowledge of financial markets and regulatory environment. Solid experience/understanding of risk management and asset/liability issues. Excellent knowledge of securities market including: mortgage market and Secondary Mortgage Market. Overall knowledge of all aspects of the Mortgage business. Strong communication skills. Financial analysis skills. Specific Mortgage Secondary Market experience a plus. Experience with Quantitative Risk Management Mortgage System a plus. Excel and Word expertise. Statistical modeling a plus.
