Description

Investment Advisor / Hedge Fund manager / Broker Dealer with a successful 20 year track record seeking college graduate to fill entry level operations position.

Suitable candidate: college graduate interested in a career in financial services. Must be prepared to learn quickly within a small, seven-person demanding business environment.

Candidates with no experience are welcome. We will train you.

This job is for immediate employment in New York City.

This is NOT an analyst position.

Responsibilities

- Preparing weekly and monthly reports
- Checking Trades
- Client Interface
- Biling
- Answering phones, ordering office supplies, filing, etc.

The right candidate will gradually take on more responsibility within the firm and will be required to pass the Series 7 and 63.
Requirements

- Acute attention to detail
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to work comfortably with numbers
- Access a plus; Accounting knowledge is a plus

-Completed Bachelor's degree required
