Description

Responsible for the execution of securities trades requested by the Bankers and the Product Specialists, in accordance to the full compliance with the trading procedures, finding competitive prices through the interaction and negotiation with various institutions in the market place.

* Execute all securities trades, requested by Bankers or Product Specialist
* Monitor the relationship between the trading desk and our trading counterparts in the market, making sure that we are consistently trading with the top tier pricing providers for each specific asset class
* Book all executed transactions into the system
* Responsible for contact the middle office regarding the post-trading routines of booking the transaction into the system and assisting the Securities Processing Unit, whenever needed, in order to ensure maximum efficiency regarding settlements of the trades
* Responsible for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all of it’s implementing regulations as well as with the bank’s BSA/AML program
* Compliance with BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations and the bank’s BSA/AML policies and procedures is a part of the performance evaluation of all employees

Requirements

* Minimum 2 years experience in securities trading
* Specific knowledge in economics, trading, financial markets, FINRA’s licenses
* Bachelor degree in finance or related field
* Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish
* Fluency in English
* Proficiency in MS Office, Bloomberg and Olympic
