Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
" This person will have direct responsibility for handling all aspects of the securities (bonds, equities, currencies and options) business. It involves executing client transactions in line with exisiting procedures.
" Responsible for execution, processing, compliance with controls and limits, and MIS requirements. The position will have revenue responsibilities.
" Interacting, servicing, and growing relationships with PB Relationship Managers (RMs), and selected PB clients in their requirements associated with securities. It also includes educating and training RMs.
" Prepare bond offer lists in response to specific client requests
" Maintain the sales force informed of relative market information
" Handle securities orders originating from other platforms.
" Support other traders in trading, structuring, and processing structured products.

Requirements Who we are looking for

EXPERIENCE " 5 years experience in handling transactions in cash securities (equities and bonds); experience in currencies and options a plus.
" Series 7 qualification
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE " Knowledge of equities, fixed income, currencies & options markets, particulary with respect to private banking clients.
" A degree in finance or a technical field is preferred
" Exposure to derivatives and structured products helpful
" Bloomberg knowledge required;
" Knowledge of operational/tax/credit/regulatory issues
" Strong analytical and technical skills that can be practically applied.
" Strong customer focus.
" Team Player
