Job Function: Finance / Accounting
No. of Positions: 2
Assist in trading of physical and financial transmssion rights and other congestion hedging instruments for the PSEG portfolio of transactions including options. Perform data and market analysis in support of traders' transactions. perform forecast analyses; sensitize the demand forecast and analyze and track bid strategies. Utilize OASIS tool to analyze and contract transmission. Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls.
Candidate must possess analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player and demonstrated attention to detail skills. Must be results oriented, creative and innovative. Candidate must have experience in a physical or commodity trading environment and/or knowledge of electric power system operations. Must be knowledgeable of power portfolio management including demand, generation and congestion management tools. Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, math or engineering or directly-applicable equivalent experience. Experience with PSSE, Dayzer or other loadflow tools is desirable.
