We are seeking a Jr Trader Analyst with experience with transactional trading and a background in the bond market to construct the structure and set the pricing for the loan products. This role will monitor the market timing and interface with the major banks. Reports to the VP / Sr Trader. Group is responsible for managing funding, issuance of bonds and pricing of loans for the Banks in the region. Transactional trading of derivatives. Local candidates only please!

DUTIES:

* Monitor market timing
* Interface with sales people on the desk
* Construct and set the pricing
* Provide hedging and risk analysis

We need someone eager and energetic who is comfortable with basic bond math (yield, duration, and pricing concepts) who is willing to roll up their sleeves and pitch in. This role works with treasury, swaps, and interest rate options so a quantitative bent is highly desirable as well.

Location: New York, NY - Midtown

Compensation: $80-$100K base, minimal bonus
Requirements

* BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar field
* MBA or Masters a plus
* Strong mathematics with a Quantitative focus
* Advanced Excel / VBA Skills
* Strong tool development skills
* Strong communication skills
* Strong understanding of pricing, hedging of loan products.
