This position will be involved in a variety of tasks supporting the Equity Derivatives, Equity Financing and Equity Cash businesses in regard to the mitigation of trading and operational risk. Chief among those responsibilities is the resolution of open trade related transactions. Additional responsibilities include the analysis of the origin of the differences, trade flow review and the initiation of infrastructure change.
1. The reconciliation of open transactions related to the mitigation of trading, financial and operational risk.
2. Determining sources of problems resulting from the lack of straight through processing, and identify solutions that adjust and support profit and loss posting and reporting.
3. The understanding of the equity derivatives business and products traded including OTC Options, Listed Options, Equities, Convertibles, Equity Linked Notes, Futures and Swaps
4. The identification of processing alternatives for traders and trader assistants.
Working Knowledge of EXCEL - Candidate is able to create spreadsheets necessary to communicate issues, write simple macros.
Preferred, but not required:
Prior experience working with traders or in a trade support environment
