Business Analyst with Equity Trading Experience

Open Systems Technologies, a full-service consulting firm that specializes in providing inclusive IT solutions to a variety of industries. Our client, an investment management firm in Boston, MA, is looking for a business analyst.

This position is for a 3+ month contract primarily working on enhancements to an existing trading platform and an opportunity to work on the build of a new trading platform.

The Equity Business Analyst will write requirements, interface with traders and development team. Also, be responsible for entering defects, working with developers to hep understand project scope and requirement changes.

Requirements

* Strong equity and trading knowledge
* Industry knowledge (trading and risk management)
* Experience writing requirement specs
* Experience speaking with traders and trade admins to gather information
* Experience reviewing QA test scripts
* Experience entering defects
* Strong verbal and communications skills
