Our client, a securities firm located in Great Neck, is seeking a Head of Fixed Income Trading. This position is ideal for someone living in Long Island who doesn't want to commute into Manhattan anymore. They are currently seeking a senior fixed income sales/trader to head and manage the firm's fixed income department. The candidate will be responsible for the creation and servicing of day-to-day sales and trading for institutional clients.

Requirements
Head Fixed Income Sales/Trader
We are currently seeking a senior fixed income sales/trader to head and manage the firm's fixed income department. The candidate will be responsible for the creation and servicing of day-to-day sales and trading for institutional clients.
Job Requirements:
Must have a minimum of five years sales and trading experience with corporate, U.S. treasuries, commercial paper, agency securities and various floating-rate money market instruments.
Must have an independent book of buy-side and dealer relationships.
Must be Series 7, 24 and 63 licensed.
Fixed Income buy-side book of business mandatory.
Inter-broker dealer experience also a plus.
