LaSalle Investment Management is currently seeking a Securities Trader. This position is located in ourBaltimore, Maryland office.
Responsibilities:
# Coordinate and execute trading for real estate securities portfolios
# Assure best execution
# Assure equitable trade allocation
# Assure adherence to compliance policies and procedures and record keeping requirements
# Oversee proprietary order management system
# Interface between trading, trading operations, accounting, and portfolio management
Requirements
# Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
# Minimum of 2 years of trading experience
# Very strong quantitative skills
# Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
# Must be an independent worker and team player
# Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
# Attention to detail
# Ability to work in a high pressure environment
