Eco-Energy, Inc. is a growing company located in the Cool Springs area of Franklin, TN. Eco-Energy began primarily as an alternative fuel trader, providing full marketing and logistical support for ethanol manufacturers. Today, Eco-Energy continues to grow and expand its operations and business opportunities.
Commodity Manager / Trader Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an individual to help facilitate our growth in a rapidly changing renewable fuel environment.
This position will be responsible for the day to day operations on the energy desk including coordination with our customer base and employees.
They will be charged with canvassing the market for best prices, looking for trading opportunities, participating in hedging activities with physical and financial transactions, and managing the desk’s position on a daily basis.
In addition, they will work hand in hand with other traders and employees to ensure Eco-Energy is providing its’ customers the services and platforms they desire in this highly volatile time.
Requirements
Commodity Manager / Trader Requirements
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors’ degree in Business or related trading field; a high level analytical background; and knowledge of trading platforms and transaction types.
*Three years minimum commodity / futures experience required.
Must be highly organized and a team player willing to work with individuals across all parts of a diversified company.
Must be able to multi task providing pricing, hedging and record keeping for several accounts. Will be required to manage positions within VAR, P&L variance, and stop loss limits.
