Our client, a major international bank located in New York City, is seeking a Credit Derivatives and Structured Product Junior Trader and Support – AVP / Associate to join their Derivatives Trading Department. The ideal candidate will have prior some prior trade execution experience and experience reconciling and confirming credit derivative and or structured product transactions with a strong insight on the financial markets. Knowledge of interest rate products is highly preferred.

Major Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support to the bank’s Derivative Traders by reviewing P&L and interacting with the Market Risk management Division
• Liaise with middle office and back office associates to ensure that transactions are processed correctly – confirming and reconciling derivative trading transactions
• Provide pricing support for fixed income products
• Keep abreast with the financial markets by performing research and developing relationships within the market.
• Communicate market information to the group

Requirements
• 2 + years of credit derivative / interest rate products and or structured product trading experience at a financial institution – assisting Sr. Traders
• Knowledge of trading desk P&L, confirmation and reconciliation necessary
• Strong interest and knowledge in financial markets
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Masters Degree preferred
