PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This individual will trade foreign exchange markets in support of both equity and fixed income management areas. Responsibilities will also include communication of themes, trends and activity relating to the foreign exchange market to portfolio managers, analysts, and other traders on a regular basis.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
# Execute spot and forward trades across various equity and fixed income portfolios
# Develop and manage relationships with broker/dealers
# Gather and analyze market color and developments and communicate relevant information to portfolio managers, analysts, and other traders
# Work with trading and technology support personnel across offices to enhance exchange trading process globally
# Access and implement identified best execution practices
# Generate and maintain spreadsheets, market data, and trading data
# Generate and work with trade support to ensure timely and accurate settlement of transactions

QUALIFICATIONS
# Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant work related experience
# Strong interpersonal and communication skills
# Ability to work as part of a team of portfolio manager, analysts, and traders
# Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
# Ability to negotiate effectively with broker/dealers
# Ability to multi-task with precision
# Attention to detail and self motivated
# MBA, MS, or CFA (or in progress) preferred
