Description

IMM Trade Support Specialist will provide aspects of support mainly based around settlements and will work with the senior level clerk, international traders, E-trade settlements, opposing broker and client settlements, compliance and administration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Reconcile daily positions on trading system versus various back office systems
# Reconcile account balances vs. daily P&L
# Interact with international settlement departments to ensure settlement of trades around the world
# Input traders quotes into proprietary quote system
# Perform clerical activities related to the IMM desk
# Assist traders in resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations
# Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by manager

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

- Ability to quickly learn and maintain trading settlement systems
# Ability to multitask
# Ability to respond to and act on situations with minimum amount of direction
# Strong mathematical and accounting skills
# Strong initiative and self starter
# Strong organizational and communication skills
# Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
# Must have some work experience but not specific to trading operations
# College or nearing completion of degreed program, but may be waived based on work experience

Desired:

- Previous experience in accounting or operations
# College Degree, preferably accounting or finance
# NASD series 7 (or 62) desired. Ability to obtain licenses within three months of hire
