Our client, a leading asset management firm located in Manhattan, is looking for a Trader Support / Assistant candidate. Your responsibilities will include:
# Back office responsibilities; maintain position sheets, reconcile statements, investigate and resolve discrepancies, allocate trades, enter trade info into system.
# Record sales documentation received from clients and other stock brokering firms
# Check the validity of documents
# Collate all buy and sell contract notes and dispatch them to clients
# Process sales and draw checks
# Contact share registries and process dividends
# Record data and undertake electronic transfer of securities
# Assist in research for advice to clients.

As an ideal candidate for this role, you are a college graduate and have a minimum of one year experience in similar role. You have strong communication skills and you approach challenges with a solution-oriented attitude. You work well in a high stress environment and have the ability to work within rigid time constraints.
