Compensation: $40000 to $50000 per year
Trader Assistant needed to work for our client, one of the world's leading providers of brokerage services in futures and options for both institutional and private clients. This client is also an intermediary in the world's metals, foreign exchange and equities markets. This client is seeking an assistant to the Institutional derivatives trading desk.
Responsibilities of the Trader Assistant include accurate and timely entry of securities trades, interaction with various automated trading interfaces, handling an extensive amount of trade booking and reconciliations, and heavy use of Microsoft Excel.

Requirements
A Business degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics and 1+ years experience as a trading assistant, trader or floor clerk are required. Candidates must be able to work under pressure and think quickly. The successful Trader Assistant will be detail orientated, possess excellent communication skills, and strong math skills. Series 7 is required at hire or shortly thereafter.
