We currently have an exciting direct placement opportunity for a mid-level Trader with a growing Financial Services company in Oakland.
Responsibilities and prospects for professional growth include:
' Process portfolio manager-directed trades
' Keep records of all portfolio manager-directed trades
' Communicate with sponsor trading desks and trade support
' Process client withdrawals and deposits
' Trade new accounts against appropriate models
' Process terminations
' Identify ways to streamline trading and audit process
' Process tax selling requests
' Process trading restrictions

Education and experience required:
' Bachelor's degree
' Two years of trading experience
' Knowledge of equity markets
' Familiarity with sponsor trading desks and trade rotation
' Familiarity with portfolio modeling strategies
' Attention to detail and very accurate
' Ability to handle deadlines, stress and time sensitive situations
' Experience with order management systems and market information systems
' Progress towards CFA Designation preferred
